the rooms exceeded my expectations with their luxurious amenities and beautiful decor. the lodge itself is well-decorated and features two stunning pools, a watering hole, and a lovely sitting area to relax and enjoy their surroundings. the staff went above and beyond to make me feel valued and comfortable throughout my stay. the game drives were a highlight, with knowledgeable rangers ensuring we had a memorable experience. We were lucky enough to see the big five multiple times, even in the rain. it was a truly unforgettable experience. Cons: Nothing 🙌.

Wow! Our stay was pure luxury! The enormous bungalow was beautifully decorated, and the staff were incredible. They even set up a romantic honeymoon dinner in our room. Our game driver was brilliant, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We saw cheetahs, lions, and all the other game during our 3-day stay. The manager even joined us for some game drives, adding to the experience. The food was tasty and plentiful, and the hot water bottles on the game drives were a thoughtful touch. Can't recommend highly enough.
The only negative was that the food wasn't good during our stay, but apparently, the regular chef was away that week. However, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the ranger went above and beyond to find all of the big five for us.

The location of the lodge in the game reserve provides a truly adventurous experience, with the opportunity to spot animals on the drive in. the luxurious tent accommodations offer a seating area, beautiful bathroom, and even an outdoor shower. the friendly and helpful staff quickly resolved any issues, such as a hot water problem. the food, although some evenings were hit or miss, was generally very good, and the included wines were decent.
Although the rooms were luxurious and well-appointed, some details like towels were occasionally missed by housekeeping.

We recently stayed at Bukela Game Lodge and had an amazing experience. The tented accommodation was absolutely stunning with a comfy sofa, wooden floors, and a wood burner. The indoor/outdoor shower was a nice touch, and the verandah overlooking the waterhole was perfect for enjoying the beautiful scenery. The game drives were fantastic, with our knowledgeable guide Siya finding a variety of animals for us to see. The staff were helpful and the rooms were spotless. we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Bukela Game Lodge.

The tent we stayed in was nicely furnished and had a lovely bathroom. The included soft drinks and house wines were a great perk. The game drives were very interesting and educational, thanks to our amazing ranger. We saw lots of animals and learned so much about them.
The organization of the resort was inefficient, with no response to our emails before our arrival. The food was very average, with limited choices and lack of innovative and tasty meals.

The food was excellent, especially the new meat products. The chef was accommodating and the beds, though not the most comfortable, did not detract from the fabulous stay. The animal viewing was great, with knowledgeable guides who taught us a lot about the animals and environment.

The food was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. Our ranger, Wonga, was exceptional and made sure we saw all the animals while teaching us interesting facts. One afternoon, we even had the incredible sight of an elephant right outside our luxury tent. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond, even removing a spider for us. The location was breathtaking, with elephant families coming to drink from the water hole in front of our tent. it was a luxurious and unforgettable stay.
